Cardiology Treatments in India

What is Cardiology?

Indian hospitals have multi-super specialty Cardiology treatment centres which have been a suitable option to get rid of any of the heart defects as the very affordable cost. In India, any of the treatments is the best with maximum success rate. Because of these benefits, many foreigners’ patients visit India regularly in order to cure the terrible heart diseases.

We have been playing an important role arranging Cardiology treatments in India for the people coming down to India their heart treatment. We have been closely associated with the with a number of top-notch hospitals of the country. There are many treatments for which we can make arrangements:

Non-Invasive Cardiology and Diagnostic

The Non-Invasive Cardiology department performs diagnostic testing for patients with suspected cardiac problems. There are a variety of different tests that the cardiac physiologists can carry out to evaluate the condition of your heart and diagnose any problems. None of them involve incisions to your body.

Tests include ECGs, exercise tolerance testing, tilt table testing, Holter monitoring and echocardiography. The Non-Invasive Cardiology unit has some of the most advanced diagnostic equipment in the country and is renowned for its work alongside. We also follow up patients who have been fitted with devices such as pacemakers and implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICDs).

Invasive and Interventional Cardiology

The Invasive and Interventional Cardiology offers cutting-edge diagnostic tests and nonsurgical interventional treatments for patients with atherosclerosis and congenital heart disease. These therapies include the use of intravascular ultrasound , stents, angioplasty, embolic-protection devices and enhanced external counterpulsation (EECP).

Most of the Interventional cardiology treatments such as Balloon Angioplasty, Carotid Stents and Stroke Intervention , Congenital Heart Defect Correction , Fractional Flow Reserve , Peripheral Atherectomy etc are done in the cardiovascular system, are less painful, less risk of infection and have a little recovery span.

Our physicians have the nation's largest practices for fighting restenosis. Our experts are actively involved in research of percutaneous treatments for other heart conditions, including percutaneous valve repair and percutaneous valve replacement surgery.

Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG)

Coronary artery bypass surgery, also known as coronary artery bypass graft (CABG, pronounced "cabbage") surgery, and colloquially heart bypass or bypass surgery, is a surgical work performed to relieve angina and reduce the risk of death from coronary artery disease. The Arteries / veins from other parts of the patient's body are grafted to the coronary arteries to bypass atherosclerotic narrowing and improving the blood supply to the myocardium (heart muscle). This is usually performed with the heart stopped, necessitating the usage of cardiopulmonary bypass; techniques are available to perform CABG on a beating heart, so-called "off-pump" surgery.

Heart Valve Replacement

In most cases, heart valve replacement is an open heart operation used to repair or replace diseased heart valves. The surgeon opens your chest and heart to remove the damaged valve. Blood that flows between different chambers of your heart must flow through a heart valve. Blood that flows out of your heart into large arteries must also flow through a heart valve.

The new artificial (prosthetic) valve is then sewn into place. In some cases, the valve can be replaced without opening the chest. Called minimally invasive surgery, the damaged valve is replaced through a small incision near the "breastbone" or under your right chest muscle.

These valves open up enough so that blood can flow through. They then close, keeping blood from flowing backward.

There are four valves in your heart: Aortic valve Mitral valve Tricuspid valve Pulmonic valve

The aortic valve is the most common valve to be replaced because it cannot be repaired. The mitral valve is the most common valve to be repaired. Only rarely is the tricuspid valve or the pulmonic valve repaired or replaced.

Pediatric Cardiothoracic Surgery

We are rededicated to ensure the innocent smile of the children.

Pediatric cardiothoracic Surgery is heart surgery is performed on children to repair their heart defects occurred at the time of birth.

Children aren’t simply miniature people who suffer the same diseases adults do, but on a smaller scale. Rather, they have their own specific afflictions and abnormalities and require surgical approaches specifically tailored to their size, developmental vulnerability and their rapid rate of growth. Just as newborns quickly outgrow their clothes, their hearts and vessels may outgrow the patches surgeons use to repair them. As a mirror to our world class clinical practice centre, our experienced doctors resolve the unmet needs of children growing up with heart disease, and improve surgical approaches specific to pediatric cardiac surgery.

Our super multispecialty hospitals are having used specialized knowledge to diagnose heart diseases prenatally, and highly innovative approaches to treat and care for our patients.

Cardiology Robotic Surgery

Robotic cardiac surgery is another form of heart surgery performed through very small incisions in the chest. With the use of tiny instruments and robotic devices, surgeons are able to perform several types of heart surgery in a way that is much less invasive than other types of heart surgery. The procedure is sometimes called da Vinci surgery. Robotic surgeries have been used for a number of different heart-related procedures, including valve surgery, coronary artery bypass, cardiac tissue ablation, heart defect repair, and tumor removal.
